Our Rural Community Grants Award Celebration

This grant cycle is in response to the “Listening and Learning” sessions that were carried out through 2010 and 2011. These sessions have taken place in many of our rural communities to encourage dialogue about the needs in our valued rural communities. The grant range is $1,000-$8,000. The goals of the grantmaking program are to build the rural community by supporting programs in Caroline, Danby, Dryden, Enfield, Groton, Lansing, Newfield, and Ulysses. The aim is to support the strong programs that currently serves these communities and well as enhance current programs that would benefit from improvements. The grant program also aims to build the rural community by expanding effective programs and institutional structures where none currently exist.
