2013 Listening Learning for Capital Campaign & Project Grants

Location
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County
615 Willow Avenue
Ithaca, NY 14850

Your Community Foundation invites nonprofit agency leaders, staff, board members and participants to attend the 2013 Listening Learning sessions.  Four sessions, each designed to focus on different types of grants; program, capital, capacity, and operating, will be held in March 2013 to help gather information to guide future Community Foundation grants. This is NOT a prerequisite for any Community Foundation grant application. Community Foundation is eager to listen and learn from your feedback and information based on your experience.

This event is for CAPITAL CAMPAIGN & PROJECT GRANTS.

Attend the whole session or just drop by for what time you have available from 3:30-5:00pm. Registration is encouraged but not required. If you cannot make this session, we encourage you to provide your comments by email to gferrari@cftompkins.org.

Come prepared to discuss the following questions:

What makes a really powerful capital grant?

How can a grant best support launching new capital projects?

What makes certain capital grants unhelpful?
