Rosen Library Grant Cycle Awards Over $125,000 in 24 Grants to 18 Libraries in 5 Counties

Grants from the Rosen Library Fund are designated to support the life long love of reading and learning and to encourage youth to develop the habit of library use among the 33 public libraries of the Finger Lakes Library System in Cayuga, Cortland, Seneca, Tioga and Tompkins counties.

The Rosen Fund grant cycle awarded over $125,000 in 18 grants to 24 libraries. The Rosen Fund granted $98,853, with more than $25,000 of additional grants from the Community Foundation’s Children & Youth field of interest fund as well as from the Ujeni Fund for Advancing Public Education. Support went to summer reading, story time, and youth engagement programs.
