2015 Women’s Fund Keynote Address Text and Grantees

In the 2015 Women’s Fund grant cycle, there was $17,700 requested and with the support of an additional $2,488 from Donor Advised funds, the entire requested amount was funded. Click on the link for each grantee below to learn more about the powerful impact that each is having serving our community.

 

Youth Farm Project $2,500 from the Women’s Fund and the Rothman and Alford Fund for Construction of Mobile Farmers’ Market Stand

Women’s Opportunity Center $2,250 from the Women’s Fund and the Rachel J. Siegel Fund and the 21 Goodwill Street Fund for Stipend for ‘On the Job’ Trainees

Tompkins Community Action, Inc. $2,500 for Magnolia House – technology request

Advocacy Center of Tompkins County $1,850 for Critical Safety Needs Fund

Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga $2,500 for ISP Women’s Path to Citizenship

Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga $2,500 for Passes to Self-Sufficiency

Child Development Council of Central NY $1,100 for Access to Employment

Ithaca Health Alliance $2,500 for Ithaca Health Alliance Services for Women
