Seeking candidates for the position of Chief Development Officer

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead the Foundation’s fundraising and asset development initiatives. This senior leadership role will drive the Foundation’s efforts to expand its charitable and operational resources, ensuring sustainable growth across various fund types, including operating, donor-advised, field of interest, and designated funds.

Volunteering

The Community Foundation achieves its mission and serves Tompkins County thanks to the generous contribution of volunteers’ time and expertise. Volunteers work within the context of the Community Foundation’s Certificate of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Policies and Procedures. Of particular importance are the Council of Foundations’ National Standards and the Community Foundation’s Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality policies.
