Community Foundation Welcomes first Chief Development Officer Nancy Massicci
We are proud to welcome to the Community Foundation our first Chief Development Officer, Nancy Massicci. Nancy brings a powerful and unique set of professional expertise and community knowledge along with a track record of philanthropic excellence to assist our community in this new role. She has primary responsibility to increase the community foundation’s charitable and operational resources resulting in greater impact and effectiveness for donors and for non-profit agencies serving our region.
Nancy served for 12 years in officer positions at both Tompkins Financial Advisors and Cornell University‘s Alumni Affairs and Development, and most recently as Director of Parent Giving at Ithaca College. She helped Tompkins Trust Company establish the Tompkins Charitable Gift Fund, a donor-advised and pooled income fund, to help facilitate clients’ charitable giving plans.
Nancy will begin her duties on Monday, March 2, 2015.
