Videos from the Housing Summit, Powerpoints and Housing Surveys have been posted at www.housingtompkins.com.  Please also post your housing story on the Facebook page.

There is much follow-up work to do. As Christopher Coes told us, we can’t let the summit be “over” with the day itself! The Summit Planning Committee will be meeting soon, reviewing your comments and questions, evaluating the event, and working on next steps.

In the meantime, you don’t need to wait for anyone else, to take action! For example, please consider:

Writing a letter to the editor about any of the issues raised at the summit.

Write/email/speak to your local municipal officials or your local Planning Board or Zoning Board members about a proposed housing project near you.

Posting on the Housing Tompkins Facebook page and sharing your story.

Telling your friends, neighbors, and co-workers about what you learned from the Summit.

Make a donation to a local non-profit addressing housing issues.

It’ll take all of us, to create a place for all of us! Let’s keep it going!
