Partnerships We Honor

Since 2023, our connection with the Southside Community Center has been rooted in shared values, trust, and a deep commitment to community. Gloria Coicou, our Vice President for Engagement, Equity & Grants, has had the privilege of being directly involved in the planning and execution of the community Juneteenth program, hosted by the County, City, Southside, and other orgs—work that has been both meaningful and grounding.
When the Human Rights Office dissolved and the broader Juneteenth program was halted, we made a conscious decision: we would continue to show up. Community doesn’t pause when systems shift. Instead, we leaned into our partnership with Southside, supporting their Juneteenth celebration as a way to honor the history, resilience, and joy that the day represents. This year, we’re proud to support the drummer presentation—an offering that brings rhythm, culture, and connection to the forefront of the celebration.
Our collaboration doesn’t stop there. We continue to show up in ways that reflect our values and relationships. This includes supporting the Ithaca Pride Alliance and their Pride Festival 2026—standing in celebration of identity, visibility, and love.
We are proud to stand alongside organizations that are doing the work every day—holding space for culture, honoring history, and creating opportunities for community to come together in meaningful ways.
