Let’s Talk: Farming, Justice and Land Access
Join our guest, Christa Nunez, Director of Khuba International, for a 30 minute conversation on sustainable agriculture, youth education and community development in support of black community members that wish to access land and farm. Hear how a black-led non-profit organization implements hands-on programming and inclusive partnership-building. Areas of focus include: BIPOC farming, black-led land access, food sovereignty, literacy, and sustainable agriculture outreach. Given the stresses of last year and the ongoing recovery from COVID-19 pandemic, learn along-side others. All of this with ongoing work to build a more racially just society. You will have an opportunity to ask questions.
