Are you ready to be a part of something truly impactful and inspiring? We’re thrilled to invite you to join us on an upcoming site visit to the incredible Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins & Cortland Counties build site, where dreams take shape, and homes become havens.
Habitat for Humanity is more than just an organization; it’s a movement fueled by the collaborative spirit of volunteers, residents, and supporters like you! Come see firsthand how collective effort transforms blueprints into homes and neighborhoods into thriving communities. Our site visit offers a unique chance to meet the dedicated individuals behind the scenes – from skilled builders to passionate volunteers. Engage with the people who pour their hearts into creating not just houses but homes filled with love, hope, and a sense of belonging.
Site visits are an important part of our community engagement strategy and are a chance to connect with the people who are doing great work on the ground. It’s also a chance to see firsthand the staff’s enthusiasm for their mission, their commitment to it, and their hopes for the future. Our goal is to create an experience of co-discovery from engagement and dialogue during the visit. Our goals are to:
· Build trust and strengthen relationships
· Explore shared interest areas, share knowledge and identify possible new ways of working together to serve common goals
· Gain information beyond what is obtained from a written report
