Our June site visit is at the Women’s Opportunity Center, won’t you join us?

The Women’s Opportunity Center (WOC) is so much more than just a center for women. It is a safe space, creative hub, think tank, girl-power manifester, career promoter, resource center, power promoter, entrepreneur builder…and the list goes on. The WOC has been providing services since 1979. Join us to learn how they’ve grown, what they stand for, and how you can help. We want to learn and grow with you so join us for this site visit. We can’t wait to see you!

Site visits are an important part of our community engagement strategy and are a chance to connect with the people who are doing great work on the ground. It’s also a chance to see firsthand the staff’s enthusiasm for their mission, their commitment to it, and their hopes for the future. Our goal is to create an experience of co-discovery from engagement and dialogue during the visit. Our goals are to:

· Build trust and strengthen relationships
· Explore shared interest areas, share knowledge and identify possible new ways of working together to serve common goals
· Gain information beyond what is obtained from a written report
