We Continue to Celebrate Community Foundation Week, November 12-18

Wednesday/Thursday November 16/17: Dollar Days!

TODAY AND TOMORROW ARE DOLLAR DAYS!

I bet you didn’t think $1 can make an impact…Oh, but it does! $1 can go a LONG way. You don’t need to be wealthy to support where you live, work, and play. I challenge everyone who has been tagged yesterday or touched by philanthropy to give a gift as little as $1, $5, $10, or $20. Your gift will go to organizations like the Village at Ithaca, the Advocacy Center, the Sciencenter, INHS, Foodnet Meals on Wheels, Southside Community Center, GIAC, Open Doors English, Mamas Comfort Camp, State Theatre, Family & Children’s Services, Youth Farm Project, Black Hands Universal and so many more!

This is a COMMUNITY EFFORT and I need you and neighbors everywhere. I need your help to spread this good word and our good work. We are celebrating philanthropy this week…we are celebrating YOU!

The connections don’t stop here. Let’s hear from our very own Chief Philanthropic Services & Systems Officer, Amy LeViere. She is one of my most favorite humans in the world! Watch the video and you will see why. Amy plays a critical role in donor relation management in addition to every day operations. We could not function without Amy. Thank you, Amy for the work you do!

#CommunityFNDWeek continues…

If you have visited the Sciencenter then you have been touched by philanthropy! Like the Sciencenter, the Birth to 3 Endowment Fund has helped to support organizations like the Family Reading Partnership, Healthy Food for All, Family & Children’s Service of Ithaca. Thank you Ali for sending us this sweet message of gratitude.
